06/25/2019 - Our friends, Trish and Bev, had already been in Brighton, Ontario for a week, visiting Bev's family (this area is where she grew up).  Trish has been having trouble with her jacks on the RV, and was hoping for better days ahead.  06/26/2019 - We left  Brighton campground around 9:15.  Trish stopped for gas and the jack came down and would not go up.  The RV would not move with any jacks down, so she got stuck for several hours.  They helped her call for help, and a couple of hours later, a man showed up to make a temporary fix to the problem.  He told her she needed a hydraulic specialist and he happened to know someone, so he called and got her an appointment tomorrow.  Meanwhile, we went on to the Montreal campground and waited for her.  Trish and Bev finally showed up, but could not set up (put jacks down and slides out) until the hydraulic person worked on her coach.  I don't think they slept very well as it really tight without the slides out.  We already w

06/22/2019 - Today is a touring day at Niagara Falls, Ontario.  We first drove to the Skylon Tower for a complete view of the falls and surrounding area.  The Canadian side is bustling with many high rises and lots of activity.  We went up to the observation deck.  Here are some great pictures from the Canadian side. American Falls from the tower American Side Maid of the Mist into Horseshoe Falls, Canada   Left Skylon Tower and drove to Table Rock area for the 'Journey behind the Falls' tour.  First we had to take a rail incline (sort of like a tram) ride down the steep hill to the edge pf the water below.  Table Rock building houses a lot of entertainment, including the tour we were looking for, as well as many eateries.  We bought our ticket for the 'Journey behind the Falls' and figured that we had time for lunch in the meantime.  We went to the restaurant, got a seat right in front of the glass windows, and ordered our lunch. 06/18/2019 - We are here a day late, but the windshield did not come in at the glass company (Duncan Solutions), and the facia board did not come in at Bryan's Custom RV Repair (the appointment we had for 6/17 and the reason that we made the "commando run" to Indiana).  Also, I received an email (with documents) from a realtor that I listed a time share we wanted to sell over a year ago.  Her email said that they had a buyer for our timeshare.  I accepted the offer (glad to get rid of that timeshare - we never used it).  Now I had two new projects - find a dentist to get my bridge glued back in; and find a place to copy the docs, notarize our signatures, and mail back. We parked at the glass company last night awaiting for the windshield to arrive.  Without parts, we decided to make our tour date at the Newmar factory.  We drove north to a kennel to leave the dogs for the day, then back south {about 35 miles} to Napanee, IN to the Newmar factory.  Most of what we saw wa

06/14/2019 - We left the campground in Kansas at 9:30 am for another long drive day.  We almost ran out of DEF (a required additive to diesel engines) so had to stop to buy more.  Also made a quick stop for lunch, but the rest of the day was all driving.  We arrived at Jacksonville Lake State Park in Illinois in a rain storm. We were lucky and found a dry patch between clouds to unhook the car and get set up in our site.  The pads were cement and the landscaping was beautiful.  There were big open spaces, and of course, the lake.  There were also mosquitoes! Jacksonville Lake, IL After a long day, all we wanted was dinner, a little card playing, and to bed early.  We seem to be getting up earlier every day.  Maybe it is because we continue to lose time heading east. 06/15/2019 - Left Jacksonville Lake at 9:15.  We had lots of lightning, thunder, and rain last night.  We read that Kansas got hit with a  big storm last night that caused damage.  I think it is about 2 days be
